JASPER, Ala. (WIAT) – A non-profit organization in Jasper says Oklahoma’s needs are a chance to pay many groups back who helped after the April 27, 2011 tornadoes.
Missions Unlimited is in the process of collecting hundreds of items to transport to Oklahoma.
The group already has 1,400 sleeping bags ready to send.
They’re asking for building supplies to take to Oklahoma to repair homes.
The group is also asking for cleaning products.
According to Missions Unlimited, Feed the Children, an Oklahoma City-based organization, was one of the largest contributors to the area after the April 27th tornadoes in Alabama.
Drop off locations include Carl Cannon Chevrolet, Scott Crump Toyota and Son’s of Parrish and Sumiton Feed.
