TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) – Some small students are making a big difference towards disaster relief in Moore, Oklahoma.
Just in time for the last day of school, the students at Oakdale Elementary School in Tuscaloosa raised $500 for the Red Cross.
The students started fundraising immediately after Hurricane Sandy, but the Oklahoma tornadoes became another inspiration.
The students raised money by selling pickles and juices.
