BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – Correcting a receding gum line once meant hours in a dental chair and weeks of recovery.
Now, new technology makes the process much faster and less painful.
Using a needle, the dentist creates a pinhole in the gums.
This way, 10 to 14 teeth can be corrected at once.
Patients typically recover from the process in 24 hours.
It’s expected to be a permanent, one-visit procedure with little to no risk involved.
The cost is about the same as traditional methods.
