JASPER, Ala. (WIAT) – The woman arrested in connection with the 10 year old Jasper cold case of two missing women will probably not be brought back to Alabama until August.
The Walker County District Attorney’s Office says the judge in Summersville, West Virginia, where Wanda Kiser was arrested on Tuesday, has not set an extradition hearing yet.
The hearing won’t likely happen until at least August.
Kiser was indicted on 17 counts of forgery.
Investigators believe the former caretaker was stealing benefits from Mary Cobb and her 83-year-old daughter, Wynona Delvecchio.
The two women have not been seen since 2002.
