GARDENDALE, Ala. (WIAT) — Many high school football teams are getting ready to start practice in just a few days.
Coaches and players showed up for Media Days at the Gardendale Civic Center this week.
One team looking for a big season in 2013 is Clay Chalkville High School.
The Cougars will have 7 starters back this season on offense. Many of the players are at skill positions.
Quarterback, Hayden Moore, is ready to run the offensive attack, according to offensive coordinator, Stuart Floyd.
Floyd says the coaching staff will simulate game type situations for Moore to work through.
“Experience in the offense and he helps me out if there’s something I mess up in the call, he can fix it you know, and that’s how I test him to see if he picks it out or not. So he provides that.”
Clay Chalkville will start practice Monday.
