Missing/endangered child from Tuscaloosa has been found unharmed; woman arrested

UPDATE (X2): The Tuscaloosa Police Department Juvenile Investigators have charged Sabrina Gregory with interference with custody. She will be transported to the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending at $15,000.00 bond. The investigation is still ongoing.

UPDATE: According to Tuscaloosa police, Joetaisha has been located in Adamsville, Alabama and is unharmed. Sabrina Gregory was also located and is being transported to the Tuscaloosa Police Department.

ORIGINAL: TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT)– The Tuscaloosa police need the public’s help in the search for 8-year-old Joetaisha Jaskson, who is considered to be a missing/endangered child. Joetaisha is from Tuscaloosa and was last seen Friday, August 9, around 9 am. She was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes with her hair in a ponytail.

Police believe Joetaisha is with 35-year-old Sabrina Gregory, from Sipsey, AL, who also goes by Sabrina Dixon.

Officials received reports that Sabrina took the child from outside her residence at the 1300 Block of James I Harrison, Jr. Parkway without permission. The child and Sabrina have only known each other for two days.

Sabrina was last seen driving a 2004 Blue Ford Mustang with an Alabama tag of 48A78W7.
