TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Tuscaloosa police say an 18-year-old man accused of shooting into a crowd at a party has been arrested.
Police say the host of the party tried intervening in an argument just before midnight Saturday and 18-year-old Stanley Walker pulled a gun and fired into the ground.
Authorities say shortly afterward, shots were fired into a crowd at the party leaving an 18-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman wounded with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say a 17-year-old boy who was with Walker was also wounded — possibly by a second shooter. He was taken to the University of Alabama hospital.
Officials say Walker was later arrested on two charges of attempted murder. He’s being held in the county jail on $120,000 bond and it’s unclear if he has an attorney.
