CULLMAN, Ala. (WIAT) – The determination and hope of 15-year-old Dawson Franklin, 13-year-old Hannah Franklin and 11-year-old Gavin Franklin might rival that of some adults.
Their mother, Tabitha Franklin has been missing for almost for years.
“I know if we just try hard enough we might find some answers,” said Gavin.
“I just hope she’s found and she’s okay,” said Dawson.
Since Tabitha went missing on August 13th 2009, her family hasn’t stopped their efforts to find her, but each anniversary of her disappearance is tough.
“All of us in the family have tried to come together and be there for them,” said Stacey White Franklin’s sister-in-law.
Her youngest son Gavin says, he tries to stay strong.
“It’s going to be harder than any other day. I’ve just got pull through and just hope for the best.”
They’ve scoured wooded areas, held vigils and placed flyers near the business where she was last seen and this year they’ll do the same.
Tabitha Franklin was picked up by a male acquaintance in West Point and was last seen at a business in Hueytown
Anyone with information regarding her disappearance is encouraged to contact Cullman County Sheriff’s office at 256-734-0342.
