BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – Police have arrested two men in connection with the shooting death of a Birmingham man on Saturday.

The shooting happened at a seafood restaurant off 3rd Avenue West Saturday morning.

Surveillance footage captured the entire incident.

Police say images shown on the tape helped lead to the arrest of Devaris Browning and Timothy Daniels.

“Community involvement has always played a vital role in the fight against crime. There is no doubt the community was outraged by this incident so we received numerous calls from the public which assisted our investigators in quickly identifying and getting these offenders off the street,” Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper said in a statement.  “Here’s another unfortunate example of young people having personal conflict and using violence as the solution.”

Both Browning and Daniels face murder charges related to the shooting.

They are each being held behind bars on $75,000.
