TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) – The Alabama Crimson Tide knocked off the Colorado State Rams on Saturday to move to 3-0 on the season. The Tide won 31-6 in a game that left many Alabama fans underwhelmed.

“I don’t think it’s the normal performance you see from Bama,” said Chris Black. “Right now, they’re not playing as well as the teams have played in the past, but I think they’re pretty talented and they got some mistakes they got to correct.”

The reaction from Alabama fans isn’t unusual. The Tide has been on top of the college football world for a while now, but fans have come to expect perfection and much more dominant performances than the one turned in on Saturday.

Before the game was even over, fans took to Facebook and Twitter to express their negative comments about the team’s performance.

Everyone has their own theory, but some fans say they’re just downright tired.

“It’s really hard to go through the SEC schedule and look good every game, especially after you just come off a brutal beat-up game against [Texas A&M],” Justin Irvin said. “Everybody’s a little sore. Everybody’s a little tired.”

Whatever critiques are thrown out there about the game, most fans are confident that things will take care of themselves. Only time will tell, though.

The Tide returns to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday to take on Ole Miss at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
