Hope you had a great weekend and a chance to enjoy some of that beautiful weather we enjoyed across Alabama. Temps were mild and the sunshine was plentiful on both days.
There will be a few clouds later into the afternoon, otherwise there is a likely chance of plenty of sunshine with temps warming into the upper 60s and lower 70s all across our viewing area during our day.
Our next chance at rain moving into the state will arrive later on Tuesday. There is a decent shot at shower as a wave passes through the state on Tuesday night into early Wednesday. This is going to be a decent coverage rain for the area with many of us at least getting up to a quarter of an inch of rain before all is said and done. There will be plenty of dry weather following the rain for the remainder of the week. There is goin to be a decent shot of chilly air arriving during the day on Wednesday. The highs will be dropping back into the 50s and lower 60s for a day or so before the warm up begins later into the week.
Our weekend is not looking too bad this week. While there is not a ton sunshine setting up for the weekend, Saturday is looking pretty decent with warm temps and clouds building in. A few showers could arrive as soon as later on Sunday. We’ll see how the forecast data paints the picture into the week on timing.
